How to enable access for PC Console on A unix server? 4.5GAAll Media Servers
and Administration clients must be listed in the Masters bp.conf.(for unix).
Or Host Properties for NT/2000. When you first install the master it asks
for all Media Servers, this includes Administrative clients.
Otherwise add it by hand to /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf. The value is
SERVER=yourserverorclient(add it below the first SERVER line.

The Java client is different since you logon to the media server. You need a
vaild login on the mediaserver.
Surprisingly the Java Admin client is no longer supported in 4.5 on any
"Windows" computer.
Only the client "User" gui.

Of course the Natvie Windows Admin console runs on NT/2000. I doubt is runs
on ME,98,95 but you can
try.

  Hi,

The only way I could do it is by definning my PC client as a media server
and thats the way it is detected now.
Is that the only way to do it?

  Thanks,
  Boaz.
