Disk storage units are another type of backup media to NB. Therefore, it
has to be on a Media server. Sorry.

Can you config a disk storage_unit on a client? If so, how. Or do you have
to go to disk on a
media manager. I have created a disk storage_unit on a client and then
tried to back a test
filesystem up to the same client and I get a code 24 (cannot write to
socket). However I can backup
the filesystem to the master server just fine. Wondering if you have to
have the whole product
(volume manager) also installed on the client?

Anyone done this who can give me a few pointers in the right direction.

Thanks
