Have a situation where a Netbackup SSO environment has
tapes defined to more than one media server (media servers
communicate with the same vmd/master).

For example, a bpmedialist shows media X is assigned to
media servers Y and Z.

The media is assigned as far as vmquery is concerned.

Clearly this is a race condition. One of many, unfortunately.

My question is what would cause it, what are the
concequences and how do you stop it. Can it be stopped?
Is this a design issue resulting from Netbackup's decentralised media
database?
Anyone else experienced this?
