This depends a lot on what method you're using to backup oracle.
Cold?
Hot Backup?
RMAN?
You're basically right in that you need to work with multi-streaming =
and
also be concerned with jobs-per-client. The implementation is going to =
be
very dependent on your Oracle methods, though.
