Check the bptm log and make sure you are actually using 64 buffers at 64k
when initiating backups. From your info below, I'd say you are using 8
buffers at 32k since you are listing the two params in lower case (it should
be NUMBER_DATA_BUFFERS and SIZE_DATA_BUFFERS).

Subject: [Veritas-bu] number of data buffers
Hi,
Please refer entries below from the bptm log.
22:01:27 [201.202] <2> fill_buffer: [200] socket is closed, waited for empty
buffer 227051 times, delayed 431391 times, read 14425984 Kbytes
22:01:27 [104.145] <2> fill_buffer: [200] socket is closed, waited for empty
buffer 227002 times, delayed 431211 times, read 14426080 Kbytes
Question: By how much should I increase the number_data_buffers parameter?
Currently, it's set at 64.
NET_BUFFER_SZ is 132096 and size_data_buffers is 65536 for NBU 3.4
under Windows NT 4.
Thanks in Advance,
Bryan
