Hi,
Yes, you can.
However, bare in mind that those ports should be set across your entire
backup environment. i.e. Master, Media server and clients.

Is there a way with NBU 3.4.1 to reduce the amount of ports open
when backing up through a firewall?
I seem to remember seeing somewhere that is it possible to reduce
the amount to less then the 512 to 1024 and 1025 to 5000.
Environment: NBU 341_2 (NT4 - Master & Media servers)
NBU 341_2 (HP-UX 11 - Media servers)
Thanks,
Andy Skates
