Now do:

vmquery -deassignbyid <tapeno> <pool> <status>
or in the case of the tape above, vmquery -deassignbyid UW0130 1 1

Now you can change the pool or have your way with it.

When I was testing Netbackup prior to implementation, I had run some test
catalog backups to tape.  I am now using different tape volsers for my
catalog backups. The Netbackup database stills shows these tapes with a
status of dbbackup.  Is there any way for me to delete these tapes so that
they can be freed up for use elsewhere.





Any suggestions would be appreciated.
