the only thinks that work are:

1: kill -9 all the RELATED duplicate process on media and master server and
use robtest to unmount the tape
In this case you need to remove the lock on the source media used for
duplicate - that I don't know how.
This is important specially if you want to restart the same duplicate
process and the source media is locked :(


2. restart NetBackup on master and the media server used for that duplicate
process (bp.kill and S77Netbackup) - that's unadvised if you have other jobs
running :))

Subject: [Veritas-bu] stopping duplication process

NBU Gurus,
            I have problem killing the duplicate proceeses. I was using kill
-SIGUSR1. All the processes (bpduplicate and bptm) are getting killed and
the primary tape unmounts but the duplicate tapes stays in the drive. How do
I  make the duplicate tapes to unmount ?

Any ideas ?
