There are a few things that are contributing to this problem:
- you should not use the NetBackup pool for this; use a
different pool or create a new one. The NetBackup pool
has special conotations, so it is best to leave it
alone.
- the available_media report is including tapes not in the library.
Run the report and grep out the NONE lines. This will show you
what is in the library at the moment.
- I would suggest you setup a scratch pool (or whatever you wish
to name it) and change/add the SCRATCH_CONF line
in the vm.conf file to use this new pool.
- move all AVAILABLE media to this scratch pool.
- if you have pools not in use any more, then you could
remove the tapes and make space for blanks.
- you have a FROZEN tape in the library; you can try unfreezing it
or just discard it (depends on your site policy). This is
also occupying a valuable slot in your library.
