I will be attempting the same thing - adding a couple Windows 2000 servers
as clients to an existing unix Netbackup server, at one of our remote
sites. Also will have a couple Lotus Notes clients.
My question is this. Is OTM necessary in this type of configuration? I
know that when Veritas came out and helped us set up our initial Veritas
scenario with an NT Netbackup 3.4 server to handle all of our NT clients,
they recommended that we NOT use OTM. I did not question why at the time,
but now I am putting this out to you guys.
Is there benefit to OTM (other than what would seem to be the obvious) and
is there a specific NEED for it with the unix server - Windows 2000 client
scenario?
Thanks in advance!!!
