[Veritas-bu] OTM, SQL and the SQL Database Extension
2002-02-13 12:51:33
Terry,
We've also seen problems (blue screens, etc...) and it's resulted in turning
off OTM for any servers running SQL, regardless of what we're backing up.
As far as I can tell OTM is highly unreliable and I don't know of any work
around to this problem with SQL.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] OTM, SQL and the SQL Database Extension
Has anyone ever successfully configured an SQL server client (either NT or
2000) using both OTM and SQL database extension. We have always had to turn
off OTM on SQL servers, but our admins want other open files on the servers
besides the databases to get backed up too.
