I have been told there is a bpvault list, but I do not have the email
address so I figured I would post this question here instead.
I have bpvault with duplication running and I have been trying to get the
NetBackup Database to dup correctly and have been unsuccessfull. I can get
the process to dup the NBDB only if I insert a brand new tape into the NBDB
pool. If I have tapes in that pool that have been written before, they will
not expire or get written to again. I have the following settings:
num_dbdups 1
dbpool NBDB_Duplicate
days_holddbtape 4
I am thought that after 4 days, the tapes should expire and become available
to have a DB written to them again. Is there something else I can try? I
have tried to expire the tapes through the gui, but that doesn't seem to
work either. The only thing that seems to work is if I put in a brand new
tape (or a tape that has been used for a regular backup from the scratch
pool)
If you know the bpvault email, could you send that to me too so I can post
this message there. I am sorry if you get a duplicate message.
Thank you,
Michael Arterburn
