It looks like NetBackup has been set up to automatically clean your tape
drives after a period of time (usually 80 hours of mount time). You
should have your cleaning tape in the NONE volume pool for the tape to
be used.

Try the following:

Joebloggs# tpclean -L

This will tell you how long the drive has been mounted, frequency it
will be cleaned at and  the last time your tape drive was cleaned.
