The next version (4.5) does include the capability to write "split-stream".
Basically, this means you will be able to write to two tape drives on the
same server simultaneously.
This new version will be out in Q1 or Q2 (beta due in Dec or Jan).

How do I learn about the next version of Datacenter ... version 4.x?
Specifically I am interested in learning if the new version will include a
Raid option so offsite copies of the backups can be created during the
backups and when the new version is expected to be out.
