[Veritas-bu] command line inventory

or just
vmupdate -rn $ROBNUM -rt $ROBTYPE
will do the trick as well if you aren't using barcode rules and it is being
done from the master/robotic host.

Hi,
You can use following command to do robot inventury
vmupdate -rt robot_type -rn robot_number -interactive -M Master_server
-use_barcode_rules -rh robot_host -vh volume_host
This should help.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] command line inventory
Hello all,
anyone know of a way to run an inventory via the command-line?
through the GUI it's media-management-->Robots-->use inventory to update
volume configurations-->Update volume configuration
I've looked through the manuals, but can't really find anything.. I've
tried running "strings" against the binaries but can't find anything that
way either..
we're running netbackup 3.4 on solaris
Thanks!
Jon
