Ok, still no luck. I've enabled VERBOSE on client and server bp.conf w/ 
bpcd logs and bprd logs on server and this is the best I get:

On client logs:

bpcd main: duplicated socket on stderr

exit_bpcd: exit status 0


On server logs:

get_short: (2) premature end of file (byte 1)

bpcd main: token read: -9

bpcd main: errno = 5 - I/O error

another bprd is already mpx main


I suspect there's problems talking to the tape robot, but I'm not certain. 
I don't have a whole lot of exp troubleshooting this because its 
hand-me-down and tends to be only 1% of my work when its working because it 
only does work for 3-4 clients.
