Mark,

What I've done in the past is divide the class in two different classes
by servers listed alphabetically. For instance class:serversA-M on
Monday night and class:serversN-Z on Tuesday nights and so on. The
problem with this solution is that unless all of the servers are equal
in disk space you could have an unbalanced distribution.

You probably already know this but, the real solution to this problem
would be to add more bandwidth to your backups by increasing network
bandwidth or adding more tape resources.

Thanks

Craig

We have a class of file/print servers which are very large and take a
long
time to complete, if they ever actually complete since they usually fail
because the window expires.
I want to break the backup job up into more jobs with the include list
in
the class definition. I tried this

D:\Data1\[A-La-l]*
D:\Data1\[M-Zm-z]*

Which did not work last night. I received 750 71 errors (file does not
exist). Any thoughts on how to define an include list that will work in
my
situation? UNIX Master Server, NB v3.41. TIA

Mark
