I'm having the same problem however I haven't changed all the tapes $$$$

I am awaiting the arrival of new firmware for the DLT7000 drives version 1.60
which is not yet released. I hear this is going to address unmountable tapes as
well as incorrect cleaning messages.

Hello dear list-members !

Just wanted to cross check what we are experiencing here with our 9740 and the
DLT7000 drives.
Over 8 months we had problems with stuck tapes in the library and tapes which
weren't unmounted. Now
the STK technicans proposed to change the DLT Tape Cartridges, after they
changed all tape units, the robotic
changer etc., because the might have the wrong messures.
Anyone here, who had the same problem and fixed it by exchanging all tapes ?!?
