Do you know you have up-to-date firmware on your DLT drives?

That having been said, I have occasionally heard similar stories of 
NetBackup's AutoClean functionality just plain not working.  (it's not 
like there's anything to configure, after all...)  One of those things 
that's very hard to test unless you are "lucky" enough to have drives 
that get dirty on a regular basis.
