Thanks for the reply, but I finally figured it out this morning. It turns out I
had duplicate EV numbers within the library. I'm sure there is a log somewhere
that if I looked at it would show the message "Media ID not Unique" but I don't
know where to go to fined that. It appears that when using the GUI to reconcile
the Database and the library, those types of messages don't appear. The way I
found it was I pulled one of the tapes in question out of the library and
reconciled the empty slot. The I tried to add the cartridge back in using the
GUI and the mail slot. That's when the pop-up box about the media not being
unique came up. From there I figured out where the dups were and pulled them
out. Everything is OK now.

This begs the question ... Which log should I have looked in to possibly find
out why the reconciliation was failing on duplicate media?

Regards,
Dennis

We got similar errors when the tape got stuck in the camera hand. We have to
manually pull out the tape to clear the error. You can check the logs on the
L700.
