All,
There was a earlier this year an issue with the DLT 7000 & 8000 drives in the
L180 & L700. This was causing the drive to fail to load/unload. This was due
to some problems with the Torque handle that handles the tape loads/unloads.
An STK trained engineer should be able to fix this issue onsite
