Yes,

auth.conf can be set up with something like

userid ADMIN=(options)  

Where options are ...

 AM  - Activity Monitor
 BPM - Backup Policy Management
 JBP - Backup, Archive, and Restore
 DM  - Device Monitor
 MM  - Media Management
 REP - Reports
 SUM - Storage Unit Management

example:

jim ADMIN=DM+MM ...etc.
