hello again! thanks everyone for good answers!
I have a follow-up question though: I have clients configured as
"Windows NT" and with file directive "ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES" (and multiplexed
streams allowed) and it still tries to query the client for
System_State:\ resulting in error code 71 (none of the files in the file
list exist).=20
Do I have to specify each drive specifically when using Windows NT
clients?
/jonas

The System_state:\ file directive directly relates to a System State
backup in
Windows 2000. System State backups include the Registry, system files,
COM+
registration database and more. You can't do a full restore of a W2K
box
without this. For docs on this look at W2K help files or W2K related
manuals/books.
System_state:\ is automatically included on a Windows 2000 client if the
file
directive ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES is being used.
If you list the drives individually and the class is backing up a
Windows 2000
client, yes you should include System_State:\. Otherwise you will not
be
backing it up.

Hello!
Couldn't find anything about System_State in the manuals... What is
included
in the file directive System_State:\ ?
Do I need to use System_State if I use ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES?
Do I need to use System_State if I list all my local drives (i.e. C:\
and D:\
on separate rows).
