I have seen these errors before (on NT 4.0), but the files always got backed
up OK. As it states, it just isn't able to set the last accessed date/time
stamp back to the original after the backup.

An error that causes a file to be skipped will appear with a different
message.

Are you sure you are looking in the right place in the "backup/restore window"
for the "missing" files? They will not appear in the C:\ drive since they are
protected files and were backed up as part of the System State on Windows
2000.

You should find them under System_State:\Boot_Files\Protected_Files\c:\ ...

You can't expand Boot_Files with a "+", but if you double-click
Protected_Files in the right window under the Boot_Files folder, you will be
able to drill down and you should find the files there.

Files backed up as part of the System State are supposed to be backed up
together and restored together because of OS dependencies, even though
NetBackup does let you restore a single file by drilling down and selecting it
the way I stated above. I believe I read something on their web site about
this stating that it was wrong and that it was going to be fixed, so don't be
surprised if they fix this and you aren't able to drill down anymore
(hopefully they'll let us drill down to see what is there, but just not
perform a restore of a single file).

I looked for these files in my restore list, and they aren't there. Does
this error indicate that the files aren't being backed up?
