Has anyone observed any BAD TRAP errors Sun's SCSI tape Driver (1.194) or
fca-pci (JNI 1063 PCI adapter - FCA SCSI/IP Driver Version 2.5.9) due to a
NULL pointer dereference when operating in a SAN environment resulting in a
server panic (Solaris7).

Occasionally, one of the NetBackup daemons will go into a wait state where
they are waiting from a response from either the tape controller or drive.
The daemon cannot be killed and usually the drives in the affected robot
will be in listed as DOWN or AVR state instead of TLD. This has also been
observed when the DLT drives/SAN tape controllers go offline momentarily and
come back online (<1 sec).

Usually rebooting the Robot and/or tape controller will clear the wait state
and everything will look normal (sgscan sees everything). Later minutes
after backups start for the night and the system is under backup load the
system will panic and reboot. We have seen this ~5-6 times in the last 4-6
months using NetBackup 3.4 - 3.4.1. Once on a disk.

We have applied some relevant patches from Compaq and Sun to address the
problem for the FibreChannel Card and OS with no difference seen.
