Sorry I was thinking of NBU 4.5, 4.0 is really 4.0V which is as Deron
pointed out a Server Free release, only designed for the SAN Backup market,
it is really a released product for customers in specific need for True SAN
Backup, if you look at http://www.veritas.com/us/products/vertexinitiative/
This should help with the understanding.

It would appear that 3.4.1 and 4.0V are already out:
http://www.veritas.com/us/aboutus/pressroom/2001/01-02-20-0.html
http://www.veritas.com/us/aboutus/pressroom/2001/01-02-05-1.html
They also show up as choices on Veritas' support site, although there
aren't actually any documents for them:
http://seer.support.veritas.com/search/techsearch.asp?ddProduct=NETBACKUPDC
For what it's worth, it is my understanding that 4.0V is just being
marketed to people who are interested in "server-free" SAN backup.
