The issue is not does it work with NBU, the issue is does it work.

The NBU Oracle extension will not work, since this relies on EBU or RMAN
from Oracle and neither existed at the time of 7.2.2

The second is you can always use bpstart_notify and bpend_notify to start
and stop oracle, or use it to put Oracle in hot Backup mode.

Does anybody have Oracle 7.2.2 working with NetBackup 3.4? I know its
not supported (7.3.4 is the oldest it supports), but if I can get it to
work the DBA will be fine with that.
