2000-11-08 11:34:03
i saw this happen when my inetd.conf file was reset. there should be a line
for the bpcd process to start up:
$ grep bp /etc/inet/inetd.conf
bpcd stream tcp nowait root /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/bpcd bpcd
hope this helps,
jerald

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Status 57 - Client Connection Refused
I hve several Unix servers that I backup with my NT Master and Unix Media
Servers....I'm at ver 3.2. Today I added one more unix client. this
client will not back up. It returns with status 57. I checked the bp.conf
and the servers are listed there and all machines can see each other through
pinging. What I am missing. Can anyone please help.
