Hello everybody !

Currently I'm migrating our unix hosts form legato networker to veritas
netbackup. We're running several sun clusters, which have to be backed
up.
Currently we do a backup of the physical cluster nodes, where the data
of the logical hosts is also being backed up under the physical
hostname.

The thing is, for restores we have to know on which node the log. host
was
at the time of it's backup, which is very annoying. Apart from that, our
incremental backups are growing after a cluster switch.

So, is it possible with NBU, to backup the system data of the phys.
hosts
(eg. client A and B) and define additional clients for the log. hosts (
log.
host AA and BB) which take care of the log. hosts data ?!?

If this works, how many licenses do we need for a 2 node cluster with 2
log. hosts ?
Two or Four ?

Thank you in advance.

Regards

Axel Kunze
