You could always add HSM to the filesystem that has the data you backed up
to.  This would allow you to first have the data on disk and then have it
migrated to tape.

Second you could backup to disk and then duplicate to tape, and then change
the primary copy to the tape and expire the disk image.

Lastly you could always spend the money you were going to spend on disk and
just buy more drives.

Is it possible with Netbackup to spool backups to a spool server first and
then
stream it over to a remote tape server.
