I'm new to this list and very glad to read something about backups
through a firewall, but
our security guy has some problems with opening:

We'll use NBU 3.4 and Sunsolve Infodoc 22697 says:

Firewall Support (UNIX only) 

  Allows administrator to define a range of ports used by NetBackup.
Feature makes use of SERVER_PORT_WINDOW parameter 

Has someone used this feature already and can describe me how this
works,
because I can't find anything about this feature in the documentation
....
