I have come across a problem with NetBackup V3.2 relating to backing up
clients to the master server's
tape device through a Pix Firewall.

The advice is to open up ALL ports on the firewall 1025 to 5000 for
NetBackup Connectivity.....

This seems a bit drastic.

Have any of you come across a hidden tip to alleviate this large number of
ports being
opened on the firewall and tied it down to a reasonable number...
