[Veritas-bu] bplist bpflist nt_files option
2000-09-27 12:08:52
does anyone use the nt_files option for bplist or a similar option for
bpflist successfully? we use a unix netbackup server with several nt
clients which share files to users. if a user needs a file restored on a
drive he maps from a server, it is difficult for our operators to find the
exact location of the file on the server. i have a script for our old
backup software (non-netbackup) which allows the operators to search or grep
from a list of files on the server and locate the absolute pathname of the
file to restore. we are about to switch over to netbackup as soon as our
testing phase is complete.
SunOS:.../bin#> ./bplist -C coastguard -nt_files -t 13 /C

never a C: like the -nt_files option of the bplist man page states.
thanks in advance,
