Here is my problem, I hope someone can help...
I have a media server that has had a second NIC installed, to be on two
networks. I want to be able to have backups from NetworkA and NetworkB to
go directly to the media server. But how do I configure this in NB. I have
tried the following:
bp.conf on media server/master bp.conf for client on Network A
bp.conf for client on Network B
SERVER=networkA.foo.com SERVER=networkA.foo.com
SERVER=networkB.foo.com
SERVER=networkB.foo.com
Client A has no problems, but client B always gets access denied. I think
the problem is with the definition of the Storage-unit, as it only has
networkA.foo.com in the host section.
I guess my question is, is it possible?? Or do I need to define 2 storage
units for the same host, one for each NIC?
Any help is appreciated.
I am running NB 3.2 on HP-UX 11, my clients are both UNIX and NT.
Thanks
