Are you trying to use the multi-stream option for NBU?  If so, then each
successful stream will run bpend_notify thus your database will be started
after the first successful backup.  If you're going to try and use
multi-streaming with database backups, you need to do some extra careful
coding in your start and end scripts.

Good morning all,

I'm trying to use bpstart_notify & bpend_notify to perform a cold backup
of oracle with multi-streaming on HP-UX 11.0.  A problem occurs with
bpend_notify where oracle is started after the first filesystem backup
is completed rather than after the last.  Can anyone offer any insight
or suggested solutions to this?
