If I add a new [secondary] NIC to an existing master [a master with no
existing slave servers] can I configure the master server to recognize
itself as a slave server on its secondary NIC?
eg. bp.conf
SERVER=master1
SERVER=slave1
/etc/hosts
1.1.1.1 master master.netbackup.com
1.1.2.2 slave slave.netbackup.com
