I'm new to this list, and I'd like to say hi to everyone.

My reason for this message is to see if anyone else has tried what I am
attempting, and how they may have resolved it.  For our SAP systems, we
run online full backups 6 nights a week, and an off-line full backup on
Sundays.  What I want to do is force the online and archive log backups
to alternate the tapes it uses from night to night.  Using numbers to
represent a group of tapes, here is what I'm trying to do.

By doing the backups like this, baring Murphy's Laws, a media failure
should never cause me to be more then two days from getting a full
backup restored.  I already have different pools for the off-line,
online, and archive logs backups, so they are already split.  I'm
looking for confirmation of my ideas or new ideas on how to alternate
the tapes used within the online and archive log backups.

The two ideas I have are: Use different schedules within the class with
different retention levels for the alternating days.  This should make
it use different tapes, but they would all be in the same volume pool. 
My other idea is to create more volume pools and classes.  I'm open to
suggestions.
