A read a little and I think what I said before was a little bit misleading.


The KNOWN line is for servers that this server is aware of. The DEVICE_HOST
line is to list hosts that can manage the devices on this machine. So in
this setup the one KNOWN line indicates that the server knows about itself.
The two DEVICE_HOST lines mean that those two machines are allowed to manage
it. This would indicate a typical configuration for a slave (media) server.
The master server would typically look like 

KNOWN = server2
KNOWN = server1
DEVICE_HOST = server2

Indicating that the master (media) server knows about the slave and itself,
but only itself is allowed to manage this machine.
