I have seen this subject before, but I am just trying to verify some
information. It sounds like the UNIX client upgrade problem when going from
3.1.1 to 3.2 has been corrected in a jumbo patch. Is this correct? Which
patch number corrects the problem? The reason I am asking is I soon will be
upgrading my production environment. With 350 plus UNIX clients I cannot
touch every box by hand. (I discovered the original UNIX client upgrade
problem when upgrading my test environment.)

The reason I am confused is our local SE has told us the original 3.2 CD's
contained the error, but newer 3.2 CD's contain the corrected bpinst binary
and do not require the patch. But, we are having difficulties acquiring the
newer CD's. (Something about Veritas will only ship one set of CD's.) Has
anyone else been told this? Is it worth pursuing the newer CD's or should I
just go with what I have, try applying the latest jumbo patch and then push
the upgrade to my UNIX clients?
