We made the move from EBS 7.4 to 7.6 a couple of years ago, and we did need to
contact then Sun for new enablers, but they did not charge us anything for it.
I'm not sure if you'll get the same result making the same request now that
Oracle took over, but it would be worth the effort.
Keep in mind, however, that Oracle is getting out fo the business of reselling
NetWorker, so any new licenses will have to be purchased directly through EMC.

More than likely, you will need to purchase new NetWorker licenses. I suggest
you contact EMC or an EMC reseller to discuss your licensing needs. Your
university's purchasing department might be able to put you in touch with the
right people at EMC or a reseller.
