[Networker] Verifying LTO compression is on?
2012-03-22 08:26:32
I have an LTO-4 autochanger that doesn't seem to be doing compression (or
not doing it very well). I realize that it's impossible to get the vendors
claimed "2 to 1" compression ratios, but I should be seeing something
better than what I am seeing, I think. So I'd like to verify that
compression is happening. And I don't seem to see any options in the
properties of my autochanger in Networker that indicate compression. (this
is NW 7.6.2,3 on Win2008 R2).
Are there any settings? Or indicators? I don't see anything in the
hardware interface (it's an HP LTO-4 G2 autoloader). Or am I just
confused? :-)
