If you are running apps on Windows such as SQL, Sharepoint etc., then
the recommended backup method would be NMM. NMM relies on VSS to quiesce
the app before backing it up. VADP also relies on VSS to quiesce the app
on a VM before backing it up. Does this mean that VADP can do everything
that NMM can do in terms of on-line backups? Can I for example backup a
SQL VM including the transaction logs?
