Hi all
(running Networker 7.6.1 server on Redhat Linux)

I've just come across an odd thing with nsrclone and the -n switch (the one
that basically goes through the motions but doesn't actually clone anything).
I use this to check that my clone file (a list of SSIDs) is OK before I submit
it for processing. I guess I've been lucky in that previously I've had no
save-sets marked as 'suspect'.
So, I generated my list of SSIDS as normal (36 SSIDs in the file), ran the
'nsrclone -n -S -f ssidfile' and it didn't throw up any problems.
I submitted the job, it cloned 4 save-sets and then said it had finished. As it
doesn't do the save-sets in the order they are in the file (why is that?)
I then hunted around for reasons why it stopped. I found a save-set marked
suspect, but then wondered why the -n test hadn't picked it up.
I re-ran the nsrclone -n command on the SAME FILE, and this time lo and behold
it flagged the suspect save-set!!

So, it seems that once you've actually tried to do a clone the -n switch will
flag up the error, but before you get an actual failure it merrily reports that
all is fine.

Am I missing something here? Sort of implies the -n switch is totally useless
to me.

Cheeers... Allan.
