The command was awesome, Could someone tell me the right command to
execute and find out how many files were backed up during a session. It
should be nsrinfo, however i am confused with the syntax.
nsrinfo will show you what files were part of a particular saveset, but
if you just need to know *how many* files, you can skip a bunch of steps
and get that with mminfo's "nfiles" attribute.
Another useful mminfo reporting attribute is totalsize. Keep in mind that
mminfo automatically scales some columns with large values, so totalsize
might be reported in MB or GB. You can force it to report in bytes by
specifying a column width that's large enough to accommodate the number.
Something like totalsize(15) should work for most needs.
Remember that this is reporting at the saveset level. You'll need to
do additional totaling to get all of the data for a "session", however
you're defining that. The reports in the "Enterprise" section of NMC
might be of use there.
