Hello,
Ensure automount is not enabled on the proxy. I think by default on windows
2003 it's not enabled. You can go into diskpart on windows 2003 and type
"automount disable" to disable it.

Subject: [Networker] VADP access to VMWARE LUNs

Hi,

When configuring a vadp proxy server, the documentation states that the vadp
proxy host must have access to all LUNs on the ESX server that is hosting the
virtual machines. When doing this what must be done on the windows server to
ensure that the windows OS doesn't corrupt the VMFS. Should the SAN be
configured so that the vadp proxy only sees the LUNs as readonly?

Thanks...
