I have a boatload of DLT7000 tapes containing backups from a decommissioned
NetWorker environment. My task is to scanner these into my existing
environment and then stage them to newer media, i.e. LTO. My preference
would be to run scanner against each of the available SDLT320 drives I have
(2), both of which are connected into our environment, but it occurs to me that
doing so is going to result in a lot of work for nsrmmdbd ... and possibly
conflicts in populating the media db when two devices are simultaneously trying
to inject stuff.

Have others had success in running scanner on multiple drives simultaneously?

Thx
