This (and the once in a blue moon failed tape drive) are perfect reasons for 
learning the udev
way of forcing a device to become a particular /dev/stX.  You don't have to 
delete and recreate
your jukebox (and in my case, waste an entire day running a slow inventory on 
2500 tape slots).

If EMC would provide a simple way to update the jukebox configuration for when 
these things
happen, that would be wonderful.
