We recently (10 days ago) moved from 7.5.2 to 7.6.1. We didn't upgrade our
existing server but instead installed 7.6.1 on a new server and copied the
media db and indexes as well as much of the configuration from the old server.
As noted in my message to the listserv earlier today we are having problems
with savesets hanging and eventually failing to back up, mainly with our full
backups. Maybe that won't be a problem when you upgrade an existing server.
