Been seing stuff like that too...
Not with the session number...

but with target sessions, since upgrade to 7.6.1 where target sessions
should be 1 pr AFD, and max session 32.. with sessoins filling up steadily
to load balance.. NOT happening on our servers.
Datadomain CIFS devices fill to target session and not above, never
above... sometimes it wont even take another free device in use, unless i
unmount and mount it again... !

Looking forward to new server with EMC capacity licens getting ready next
week, No more Module or storage node licensing, very very nice licens move
by EMC
Hope fully this move, will clear some of the ghosts in the machine ;)

Sounds like your Networker server, like my ex, is remembering every
relationship I have had since high school. Shake the magic eight-ball
does it say call emc or OS reboot? /grin

We recently installed a NetWorker 7.6.1 server, upgrading from 7.5.1 but
it was a clean install on a new server with configuration data copied
from the old server.

I've had a number of problems that I'm working through but one weird
thing is that number of sessions is listed as 2147483647 (2^31 - 1) most
of the time. Does anyone have an explanation for that?

Thanks, Dave
