I've been out of the backup arena for 3years and had used 7.2 Networker then.
I'm in a new position and with my prior backup expierence Ihave been told I may 
start 
managing the new backup environment, changing from Symanted Backup Exec to 
Networker 7.6.

I'm very curious to how much the versions have changed ustilizing the Java 
Platform now.
